Efter några års uppehåll kommer evenemanget Every Song Has A Story tillbaka till Västervik och Slottsruinen. Återigen är det Björn Ulvaeus som står på scenen och i år har han bjudit in ingen mindre än Graham Gouldman, från kultbandet 10CC, som gäst. Det blir både konsert, samtal och nostalgi från scenen i Slottsruinen, allt gratis i Slottsruinen onsdagen 12 juli, klockan 20:00.
Graham Gouldman är inte bara en av grundarna av 10cc, vid sidan av ABBA en av 70-talets absolut största popgrupper. Han är även upphovsman till 60-talshits för grupper som The Yardbirds (For your love, Heart full of soul, Evil hearted you; The Hollies (Bus stop) och Herman’s Hermits (No milk today).
Mest känd är han ändå kanske som medlem och låtskrivare i 10cc med hits som Wall Street Shuffle, The things we do for love och inte minst megahiten I’m not in love.
Graham ställer sig fortfarande gärna på scen. Ibland med 10cc, men vartannat år ger han också halvakustiska konserter med ett fyramannaband där hans stora låtskatt kläs i ny form. Har vi tur kanske han hänger på sig gitarren en stund på Visfestivalens scen i Västervik.
Björn Ulvaeus startade sin karriär här i Västervik med bandet Hootenanny Singers. Framgången lät inte vänta på sig och många av deras låtar hamnade högt på svensktoppen. 1966 träffade han Benny Andersson och resten är musikhistoria. ABBA blev en av världens mest framgångsrika grupper med otaliga hits.
Framgångarna för Björn har sedan fortsatt med musikalerna ”Chess”, ”Kristina från Duvemåla” och ”Mamma Mia”. Och fyrtio år efter senaste skivan chockade ABBA världen genom att göra comeback med albumet ”ABBA Voyage” 40 år efter senaste skivan. Till detta en scenshow med digitala versioner (avatarer) av medlemmarna – ett helt banbrytande koncept.

är ett projekt avsett att entusiasmera unga musiker till att utveckla sitt låtskrivande. Björn Ulvaeus bjuder in en låtskrivande artist och tillsammans sitter de på scenen och samtalar om hur man skriver musik, hur man får till en text, och hur låten utvecklas i samarbete med andra.
Nytt för i år är att musiken kommer framföras live på scenen, tillsammans med vårt husband under musikalisk ledning av Clarence Öfverman (Roxette) & Christoffer Lundqvist (Roxette& Brainpool).
Every song has a story har utvecklats av Slottsholmen & Föreningen Visan tillsammans och sker i samarbete med Västerviks kommun & Länsförsäkringar Kalmar Län.

Después de unos años de pausa, el evento Every Song Has A Story regresa a Västervik y Slottsruinen. Una vez más, es Björn Ulvaeus quien sube al escenario y este año ha invitado nada menos que a Graham Gouldman, de la banda de culto 10CC, como invitado. Habrá concierto, charla y nostalgia desde el escenario de Slottsruinen, todo gratis en Slottsruinen el miércoles 12 de julio, a las 20:00 horas.
Graham Gouldman no es solo uno de los fundadores de 10cc, junto con ABBA, uno de los grupos pop más grandes de los años 70. After a few years of hiatus, the Every Song Has A Story event is coming back to Västervik and the Slottsruinen.
