ABBA Moment on ‘Better Late Than Never’
In the New Year episode of Better Late than Never, ‘Sweden – I’m a Viking!’, the celebrities travel to Stockholm, Sweden. Former NFL Super Bowl champ Terry Bradshaw is looking to uncover his Viking roots. Along the way the men are served “the world’s smelliest dish,” and they meet (and perform with!) Björn Ulvaeus, founding member of Sweden’s world famous pop band ABBA. Björn co-produced the 2008 film Mamma Mia! starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan.
[ABBA fans love Mamma Mia! The Movie]
Turns out former heavyweight boxing champ George Foreman is a huge ABBA fan. Foreman, Bradshaw, William Shatner, Henry Winkler and Jeff Dye all get to perform an ABBA song on the famous Momma Mia! steps. The men pull out their finest gold lame fabric and tight white pants for the number. Wait until Foreman hears that Mamma Mia! 2 (Here We Go Again) will be released in July 25, 2018! See trailer below. Better Late than Never airs at 9pm and 10pm on NBC.

Touring the world with ABBA
In the 1970s the Swedish group ABBA dominated the charts around the world. They're still one of the best selling artists of all time. The band were famous for their over the top costumes - featuring huge flared trousers, teetering platform shoes and tonnes of sequins. An exhibition called Super Troupers featuring some of those costumes is currently running at London's Southbank Centre, and more are on show at the ABBA Museum in Stockholm, where the Creative Director and Curator is Ingmarie Halling. She's a great choice for the job because she used to help the band get dressed when they were on the road. But how do you get a job like that?
